    What you will be responsible for

     

    To support the Head of Training, Area Directors and Regional Directors of the Self Employed division with all aspects of applicant attraction, on-boarding, Training and Induction.

     

    Working as part of our high-profile recruitment team to source top mortgage professional to join the self-employed division of our Financial Services arm, Just Mortgages.

     

    We’re looking for a proactive head hunter who can utilise CV Databases, LinkedIn and our ATS platform to generate a pipeline of Mortgage and Protection Advisors to enhance our growing Self Employed Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire candidate experience, from first impression to on-boarding.

     

    • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, driving the interview process and offer process
    • Build effective communication and relationships with stakeholders
    • CV Screening
    • Telephone Screening
    • Relaying role information and criteria to applicants
    • Keep candidates’ files up to date
    • Maintain effective advertising and awareness of opportunities
    • Responding to all enquiries

     

    This role will also require the successful candidate to work closely with our Training & Development Team and our panel of lenders (Openwork) to ensure that on-boarding and application processes are completed and all training proceeds with full attendance. Including;

     

    • Act as conduit between applicant and Openwork, liaising with case handlers to ensure smooth completion.
    • Conduct welcome call to new applicants
    • Arrange all Induction courses
    • Ensure completion of pre-course workbook
    • Check understanding of Joining Instructions for all applicants
    • Obtain and Log DPA licence numbers
    • Maintain and close learning records at appropriate stages
    • Support with the annual Self Employed Division Training Plan
    • Identify and Book suitable venues for training events
    • Maintain and communicate the Training Schedule to the Division
    • Monitor and log attendees and CPD hours
    • Maintain CPD Training record log by Adviser/Region and support Advisers on correct completion
    • Maintain Fraud Awareness Log and schedule Fraud Awareness training with all Advisers in a rolling 12 month period

     

    What you will need:

    • Internal recruitment or proven track record in resourcing/head hunting candidates
    • Able to make others feel comfortable and confident and instil a sense of “trustworthiness” to all stakeholders
    • Strong customer service experience
    • Experience in creating and maintaining relationships
    • Excellent telephone manner
    • Strong administration skills
    • Self-motivated and driven
    • Confident to "manage upwards" to senior team members
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Open-minded and open to change and development
    • Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
    • Highly organised a refined level of time-management
    • Ability to communicate effectively with people including senior persons and commercial businesses
    • Candidate-focused
    • Ability to work with complex information
    • Ability to stay calm when under pressure
