WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
The key purpose of this role will be to inspire, lead and manage a team of Branch Managers within the South Anglia Area, ensuring residential property sales are maximised, market share increased and cross-selling optimised.
Who you will report to
You will be reporting to and working conjunctly with one of the country's most influential and inspirational Managing Directors, Russell Jervis (see below to connect with your new MD on LinkedIn) to monitor, evaluate and implement business sales targets to achieve sustained growth in line with the company's strategic goals and vision.
Who you will be responsible for
You will recruit, support and develop a team of approximately 6 Branch Managers across the area.
Your day to day duties
You play a key part in the recruitment, development and retention of your team of already successful Branch Managers. You will be responsible for providing leadership, motivation and business development/ sales direction to your team whilst demonstrating how they can capitalise on sales opportunities and improve personal performance. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage all sales and business development activity across the region in order to achieve the business objectives and targets in line with the Company Way. You will make it your business to understand the commercial market and the commercial strengths and weaknesses of our competitors to capitalise on sales opportunities. A major part of your role will also be to develop and manage (in conjunction with the Managing Director) the region's operating budget, ensuring that a cost effective business is consistently maintained.
Acting as a Role Model in our Senior Management team, you will be able to create the culture and environment needed to underpin and support the Company Vision. Your team will enjoy working with you as you continue to develop and deliver a challenging and rewarding environment which encourages employees to continually add value, improve ways of working and to develop and grow on an individual basis.
Not only this, you will also be involved with the Marketing team in the development of the Sales Strategy, review the Sales Process and make suggestion to help achieve the region's sales targets.
Every day, the new Area Partner will ensure that their Branch Managers are compliant with company guidelines, policies and procedures (including Health and Safety) and that the region maintains best practice whilst promoting a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused approach to business.

This role is ideal if you have already gained experience as a Sales Manager or Director, and have a background of managing large, successful teams whilst ensuring compliance to agreed sales plans/ business plans. The career journey you will have already embarked upon will have given you experience in leading, motivating and influencing sales people in a customer facing environment.
