You'll also get involved in major projects such as:

  • Assist in developing a 5-year business and financial plan that underpins both organic and acquisitive growth.
  • Supporting M&A activity through financial evaluation and due diligence.
  • Company valuation and funding projects.
  • Embedding AI automation and improving data visualisation and reporting within finance.
  • Reviewing remuneration and incentive schemes.
  • Implementing accounting and reporting changes under FRS102.

What we are looking for:

You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong mix of technical accounting, financial planning and analysis, and commercial insight. You’ll also bring:

  • Advanced financial modelling and driver-based planning skills (integrating KPIs, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow).
  • A track record of partnering with senior leaders to proactively deliver meaningful business insights.
  • Experience leading finance system upgrades, automation, or data improvement projects and managing stakeholder engagement through the change process.
  • The confidence to operate with autonomy, take ownership, and drive change.

What makes you stand out:

  • You combine analytical rigour with commercial awareness in order to find solutions and take ownership on driving progress to deliver results.
  • You’re an excellent communicator—able to distil complex financial information into clear, compelling insights able to influence stakeholders.
  • You show sound judgment, influence with credibility, and have the gravitas to engage at all levels.
  • You’re proactive, hands-on, and thrive working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
