Are you looking for a fast-paced role where you can make a real impact?

Spicerhaart, the largest Independent Estate Agent in the UK, has an exciting opening for a Junior Artworker / Graphic Designer at our Head office in Colchester.

What is the package?

  • Basic salary of £23,000 to £26,000 per annum
    (Dependent on experience)
  • Based at our Head Office in Colchester
  • Hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate.
  • 3 Month Fixed Term contract
  • Equipment Provided

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Junior Artworker or Graphic Designer to join us on a fixed-term contract to help deliver a large-scale image creation and manipulation project. You’ll be working closely with our in-house design and marketing teams to boost capacity during a particularly busy spell.

 

This is hands-on production work - perfect for someone who knows their way around a creative brief and can deliver high-quality visuals at pace.

 

What will your day to day look like?

  • Creating, adapting and resizing artwork across digital and print
  • Retouching and manipulating images to a high standard
  • Working from templates and following brand guidelines precisely
  • Supporting the wider creative team with layout work and visual consistency
  • Hitting tight deadlines without losing your eye for detail

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • A good eye for layout, typography and image quality
  • 1+ year’s experience in a similar role (agency or in-house)
  • Solid understanding of production best practices
  • A tidy, well-presented portfolio showing your range and attention to detail
