Overview

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Marketing Executive to join our team at our on a full-time basis at our Head Office in Colchester. This role is focused on supporting internal communications and recruitment marketing, helping to drive engagement within the company and attract top talent through strategic marketing efforts.

As a Marketing Executive, you will receive:

  • A salary of per annum £24,000-£26,000, dependant on experience

The main duties of a Marketing Executive:

 

  • Recruitment Marketing: Support the promotion of recruitment events and ongoing hiring initiatives through engaging content, paid and organic social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Internal Communications: Assist with the creation and distribution of internal comms across various platforms, ensuring clear, engaging, and timely messaging for employees.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee specific company social media accounts, creating engaging organic and paid social posts to achieve defined goals.
  • Content creation: Provide content support including collation, writing, proofing and editing of articles, stories, posts and emails. Liaising with our in-house studio to produce supporting imagery and video content.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality content for a range of print and digital platforms.
  • Event Support: Provide remote marketing support to our HR teams in relation to events across the country, including management of merchandise ordering and distribution.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilise web analytics tools to track and report on the performance of specific marketing activities. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Request Management: Monitor and manage appropriate marketing inboxes and actions requests as required in a timely efficient manner.

 

A successful Marketing Candidate will be:

  • An excellent communicator able to craft engaging content, tailor messages for different audiences, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively, managing multiple projects, working to deadlines, and responding to changing priorities.
  • A strong stakeholder manager, confident in working with different teams and building relationships across the business.
  • Hold marketing experience across a range of activities including content creation and social media skills.
  • Hold strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Be adept at working to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving excellence.
  • 1-3 years marketing experience.

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Experience of recruitment marketing 
  • Experience of publication of internal comms 
  • Experience using email software is beneficial 
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) 
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM or equivalent) 
  • Proficient in IT and Office packages.
